Scene 1 “Gossip”

Establishing shot of café
Long shot of the three females walking across together holding their lunch
mid shot of the three (camera in front of the table) as they sit down
Mid shot of female 1 (or 360 degree if possible?)
Mid shot of female 2
Close up of female 3 as she begins to get worried

Female 1: “Oh my God, have you heard…?!”

Female 2: “Are you on about that girl in year eleven and… “

Female 1 and 2: (Together) “Mr Berly!” (Raised voices, sniggering and laughing)

Female 3: “Yeah (pause) I heard” (embarrassed and worried expression)






Scene 2 “Tricky Love”

(Creating the obvious, how is began)

Voice in the background

(lighting bright)

… and this is your new teacher….

Close up- Teacher looks up love struck

Close/ mid shot as camera turns to the student- she smiles

(Lighting dark)

Rushes through the door and goes to grab the teachers hand

Close up on student 1

Student: “People know…” (looking worried)
Teacher: (Pause) “run away with me!”

(acts as a cliff hanger, breaks up the flow of the shots)


Scene 3 “Bullying”

Long shot as the shove takes place
Close up of bullied student as he looks behind to see the gang walk past laughing)
Close up (infront) as he turns round all upset- voice in the background of the name calling

Cut to the boys toilets, the student being bullied in a corner crying (mid shot (full body to show position)

Student/ the bullied: “I cant take it any longer” (close up on mouth, shaky look of camera)








Scene 4 QUICK SHOTS

Small cuts of action:

over the shoulder shot of female students talking to the mother
Close up of mother in disgust by the news
Two shot of student and teacher
High angled shot of student hidden away in the corner

Shot of behind the two friends telling the mother about the relationship with the teacher

Student/ relationship with teacher’s mother: “shes what?!”
Two shot
Teacher: (to student) “I love you”
Bullied student: (in dark space) (looking up in tears, upset, falling apart)


Scene 5 “too much” (suicide)

1 Establishing shot of boy on bridge
2 Point of view shot of all characters running towards the bridge
3 Close up of bullied character “I just can’t do it “ (closes is eyes while crying)
4 final shot, quick zoom in on one of the females “No!” (Shouting in sheer terror)



alternative ending. (Only if bridge is inaccessible)

Bullied student is still in toilets- reaches for something sharp in his pocket and self-harms… students rush in and find him, calls 999. “THERES AN EMERGENCY….” (Where) THEN SHE ANSWERS USING THE NAME OF THE SOAP….. which is……….
